Custom Hospitality Website Development
Overview
Lugano Resort & Spa is a premium Ultra All-Inclusive 5★+ resort located in Cam Ranh, Vietnam. The project targets international guests from multiple markets and required a modern digital platform capable of presenting the resort at the level of global hospitality brands.
MOVEON was responsible for building the complete digital foundation of the project — starting from a launch landing page and continuing with a fully custom corporate website with booking integration and multilingual support.
The goal was to create a scalable hospitality web platform designed to support international guests, tour operators and direct bookings.
The Challenge
Luxury resorts operate in a highly competitive digital environment where the website plays a critical role in direct bookings and brand perception.
The Lugano Resort platform needed to solve several challenges:
• present the resort at the level of international hotel chains
• support multiple global markets
• integrate a booking engine
• provide a seamless user experience across devices
• maintain high performance and security standards
The platform also needed to function as both a marketing presentation tool and a booking gateway for international guests.
Our Strategy
MOVEON approached the project as a hospitality digital infrastructure project, not simply a website.
The strategy included two phases:
Phase 1 — Launch Landing Page
A temporary high-converting landing page designed to present the project to early visitors, marketing campaigns and tour operators while the full website was being developed.
Phase 2 — Full Website Development
A fully custom hospitality website designed to support the long-term digital presence of the resort and integrate directly with the resort’s booking system.
UX/UI & Design
The entire design system was developed from scratch in Figma. The interface follows premium hospitality design principles inspired by international brands such as Hilton, Rixos and Mövenpick. Key design principles included:

The website was developed on WordPress with a fully custom theme architecture, ensuring performance, flexibility and scalability.

Booking Integration
One of the core elements of the project was the integration with the resort’s Smile PMS booking system.
The website connects directly to the booking engine, allowing guests to:
• select check-in and check-out dates
• specify number of guests and children
• select language and currency
• proceed directly to booking within Smile PMS
All payment processing and reservation management is handled by the PMS system, while the website acts as the primary digital interface and booking gateway.
Multilingual Platform
The platform supports four languages:
• English
• Russian
• Vietnamese
• Korean
This multilingual architecture allows the resort to target international markets and work efficiently with global tour operators and direct guests.
Performance & Security
The platform was designed with strict technical standards.
Key performance targets included:
• mobile performance 70+ PageSpeed
• optimized image delivery
• lazy loading galleries
• cloud CDN integration
• secure authentication and admin protection
• automated backups and monitoring
These measures ensure stability and security for a high-traffic hospitality platform.
Result
MOVEON delivered a fully functional hospitality website platform that now serves as the digital presentation layer for Lugano Resort & Spa.
